Slip On Sneakers

I'm loving the slip on sneaker that's currently so trendy.

They're easy to get on (great for moms) yet super stylish and best of all comfortable. I think no. 7 is my favorite because they would go with everything in my Spring/Summer wardrobe. Would you wear these kicks? Leave a comment and have a great day!

Lately in Photos: A trip to Florida.

We were in Florida over the weekend celebrating Mr. H.'s Grandmother's Birthday.

Baby H. had a wonderful time with their family dog (he's very into saying "woof woof" every time he sees a dog), playing outside in the warm sunny weather and just relaxing. It's so nice to get all the family together!

Saturday Splurge: Anthro Tunic

I have a small obsession with tunics. I love how comfortable they are and can hide problem areas in the tummy.

I'm lusting after this tunic from Anthropologie for Spring.

Tunic

Priced at $78 it's not outrageous but a bit of a splurge for me right now. I think it would pair perfectly with white jeans or denim cut off shorts.

What clothing piece do you currently want to buy? Leave a comment and have a great weekend.

April Wish List 2014

I apologize for the lack of posting but there are a lot of things happening in my life that I hope to share in the near future. (No, I am not pregnant :-)

I was able to get together my April Wish List:

aprilwishlist2014

1. I saw these Jelly Sandals in The Henri Bendel catalog and knew they would be perfect for Spring and Summer.

2. Tortoise and Monogram - this bracelet is a killer combination of my favorite things.

3. I'm always looking for cute, colorful, casual sweater.

4. With the weather (finally!) turning nice I'm dreaming of these lanterns in an outdoor eating area or backyard.

5. What's the number one must have for Spring and Summer? WHITE JEANS! My old AG's are too big (YAY!) and these AG Stevie Cuff Jeans are the perfect replacement.

6. I have a rather large collection of salt and pepper shakers (at least 50 sets) and this cactus set is adorable.

7. Last year Baby H. had two pairs of Tea Collection shorts. They were super stylish and great quality. A must buy this year.

8. I love wearing hats with my short hair and a straw and lace combo is perfect for Spring.

9. Bauble Bar is a great outlet for statement necklace. Sea foam, gold and pave will bring a pop of wow to any outfit this season.

10. I can never have enough Tunic Tops. This version from J.Crew comes in four colors.

I'm Reading, I'm Loving, I'm Craving . . . 3.27.14

I'm Reading . . .

Legend.

ledgend

It's another YA Novel and after 60 pages I'm hooked. It switches back and forth between and male and female protagonist creating a unique perspective.

I'm Loving . . .

This Dress!

It just screams summer and beach and vacation and I want it.

I'm Craving . . .

Isn't this print chic and wonderful? For $20 I think it would look fab in a bedroom or on a gallery wall.

Lately in Photos: Let's catch up.

Due to technical difficulties last week I was unable to post.

lately

The last two weeks have been night and day. Almost two weeks ago Baby H. came down with strep throat while on antibiotics. He was given new meds but it only got worse. The weekend ended with him taking a course of three antibiotic shots and finally getting better. Needless to say it was a very long week and on Sunday I cashed in my Christmas present from Mr. H. and got a facial and massage!

This past week was much better. The sun was out and we went to the park. Baby H. has started putting objects everywhere (Tupperware in pots and pans, blocks in the sink). He also got new shoes because he outgrew is old ones. It's so fun to watch him develop and learn new things.

Lately in Photos: Winter or Spring

lately march

Our weather has been all over the place - 72 one day and 30 the next. We've been trying to take advantage of the warm days with trips to the park. Baby H. shocked me last week when I turned my back for 30 seconds and he climbed up the ladder of an 5 ft slide - yikes!

Baby H. had his 15 month check up. Aside from the winter bugs every kid in day care gets he's doing great!

Mr. H. was out of town a few weeks back (it's been a while since I posted photos) and of course that's when Baby H. came home from Mother's Day Out with a a bruise and knot on his forehead. He's an curious boy and it didn't seem to bother him.

I recently got my haircut and on Saturday Mr. H. and I had a last minute date night at Carrigan's Public House. (If you live in or are visiting Birmingham I highly recommend it.)
